Shere Khan Comes to Life - An Original Artwork by Cy Baker

Inspired by the legendary tiger Shere Khan and the untamed beauty of India's wildlife, acclaimed artist Cy Baker will create a spectacular original pen drawing live throughout the Jungle Book Ball 2026.

Working from photographs of a magnificent wild male tiger that he encountered during his travels through India, Cy will be demonstrating his technique and looking to complete this one-of-a-kind artwork before your eyes over the course of the evening.

Measuring 70cm × 100cm, the finished piece will be signed and hand-framed by the artist, before being delivered to the successful bidder. As a final personal touch, Cy will also work with the successful bidder on the finishing touches, ensuring the finished artwork feels uniquely yours.

Created exclusively for the Jungle Book Ball, this is an extraordinary opportunity to own an original work of art that captures the power, majesty and spirit of India's most iconic predator. Inspired by the landscapes and wildlife that gave birth to Rudyard Kipling's timeless tale, this truly unique piece will forever commemorate an unforgettable evening in support of Darjeeling Children's Trust.
